Hallo
Can anyone tell me if I am right if I call this
Cylindromya and is it possible to get a spec name
The picture is from SW Sweden, 2007 juli 16, in woodland

Hi Ragne

It definitely a Cylindromyia. Indication of size ?
Colouration suggests brassicaria, but scutellar bristles apparently do not agree. But it does not look like intermedia, which more or less leave (in Sweden) auriceps as an option.
As you have noticed, I started guessing. Difficult to tell from one pic.

Right.
It is auriceps, a male. Could have seen it on the first pic as well, but I had my doubts. Not any more.
