9 to 11 mm Chironomidae/Chironominae/ red green larvae living in submersed vegetals in freshwater urban pound brown stripes on occiput 1 pair ventral tubules apotome with 1 little pit surface aspect anterior pseudopod crochets centromental plate striated(more than 30 ridges) antenna with blade near to apex (inferior) of the antenna eyes spots= 1 + 1 double merci Edited by solito de solis on 21-02-2016 21:24 |

Not nervosus but D. notatus. The larvae are superficially similar as Glyptotendipes ospeli but that species lack the ventral tubules for instance.
