Its a wonderfull picture. The species is any Chalcidoidea, with some 1000 species in Europe. I foreward the photo to a friend and specialist, maybe he has an idea. May I use two of these fotos for our gallery on www.galerie.hymis.eu? Christian |

Thanks a lot Christian and Victor. So Eurytomidae again, it seems they are pretty diverse in colouration. Of course I'll be glad if you add these pictures to your gallery Christian, and please note I have more views which might probably help in further identification. |

I have got an additional info from Stefan, Munic Museum, a specialist in Chalcidoidea: Genus Sycophila sp. (earlier Eudecatoma). Christian |

Thank you very much Christian, as far as I can understand it was Dr. Stefan Schmidt (http://www.zsm.mw...ym/chal/e/). It looks that Sycophila are parasites of gall-forming Cynipidae or mostly associated with figs in the tropics. |

yes, your are right, and Stefan also gave me the same short information about biology. I am not a specialist for small hymenoptera, but for Aculeata only. Christian |
