Hello,

this spezies was determined in a german Forum as Villa hottentotta, but she was not quite sure about it. Can someone confirm this? The foto was taken in Germany, 53572 Unkel, Rhineland-Palatinum, river Rhine valley, in a warm and dry region, 16. 06. 07. The size of the fly is about 15 mm.

Thanks in advance,

Michael
