Hello everyone,

who's got an idea of who could be living inside this leaf-house? Maybe someone has seen something similar before.

Thanks in advance for your answers,

Lennart

2015-07-04, Northern Germany, S-H, Mohrkirch, fallow land, Hypericum sp.

You should open the leaf-house. Mostly there are subadults of lepidoptera, but other things are possible like spiders, aphididae, nematocera, fungal deformations, ....
Of lefidoptrans related to Hypericum , causing leaf rolls: Euspilapteryx sp., Archips sp., Agonopterix sp.

Thanks for your answer - Agonopterix is very common here indeed, I've also seen Euspilapteryx auroguttella here. So that could be possible of course.

Well, I'm always afraid of disturbing the one who's living in there... but maybe next time I'll be too inquisitive to let it be closed.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
