Hey following the thread about Ptychoptera contaminata here is another Ptychoptera larva 30 mm length with siphon extruded These larvae are not well preserved in formaline since 10 years mentum with 10 teeth hooks on the pseudopods tips merci SDS Edited by solito de solis on 22-11-2015 02:42 |

not sure, but it doesn't look like albimana. Like to have a better picture of the submentum (the part just behind the menum teeth). |

Oh thank you I just have had the pleasure to find another identical larva in the sample and I could take better pictures Somebody interested can make profit with these prementum 10 teeth (picture is made with a clone of left part 5 teeth) Head capsule DV teeth and hooks and sumentum SDS Edited by solito de solis on 21-11-2015 20:00 |
