Hey 3 different larvae of Diptera The 1st one was catched alive and I could make pictures of it and a video clip will follow The 2 others are 10 years old and were preserved in formaline 1st one long siphon 30 mm with siphon extended mentum and submentum seen from below tip of antenna hook on the anterior prolegs (3 or more ?) end of the last segment and the siphon all extruded with 2 tracheal gills the mentum with 14 teeth Contaminata or another Ptychopterida ? merci SDS Edited by solito de solis on 19-11-2015 21:53 |

Thanks to you Atylotus I wish now present the 2 other organisms I believe they are, based just on the mentum Ptychoptera albimana and Ptychoptera lacustris (Paraptychoptera) I think I have to open new threads ? SDS |
