Nice fly in my garden

I regularly see this fly in my garden or even indoor. According to my general insect guide it should be Poecilobothris nobilitatus. Can that be correct? The Netherlands, typical suburb with lots of shrubs and trees.

If you have a pond in your garden, it's very entertaining to watch the males displaying with their wings.
