This would be my guess too. In some earlier threads a silver M on the head was put forward as a good marker for Milichiidae. I think this fly has a similar marking, that is why I also think this shows a Milichiid fly.

Why not an agromyzid? IMO different from Desmometopa that has the black M (see HERE).

Paul, you might be right, it certainly is not Desmometopa. Any others have any opinion?

I will keep these Milichiidae cf for the time being.
