...in my opinion it is not A.diaphana... i've found one last month (http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=67024) and it looked different and the size is different/bigger, I think... but maybe/probably I'm wrong |

Errr..., well, it's kind of very similar, at least. The main difference in the pictures appears to be the extent of the yellow spots on the abdomen. Is that characteristic,, you think ?

I guess it' s characteristic, but I really don't know for sure. I found one thread in the forum about Argyras , and it was Expert Igor Grichanov who wrote the next sentence back in 2012: Quote: "Unfortunately, Argyra has a lot of pairs of sister species that can not be distiguished by photos. Igor Grichanov" I think that says it all...at least for my part |
