Hey I need help to solve my determination of this Chironomidae larva The mentum median tooth is one of the Orthocladiinae species A main characteristic of this larva is the presence of 1 pair od seta tufts on the lateral part of the abdominal segments The colour of the larva is often pale green with dark pattern Antennae Setae on the pedicells If someone could reach me to the name Thank you SDS Edited by solito de solis on 25-05-2015 10:16 |

these tufts of seta is almost typical for Cricotopus and the size of it and the color of the larvae makes it Cricotopus intersectus agg. |
