Hello,

I found this fly yesterday in my garden in rhineland/germany. I will not try to guess the family. What is it?

Thanks,
Michael

Hello,

I think this is Eristalinus, but I don't know which one.

I should have seen the family, but up to this point, all my Syrphidae didn't have patterns in the eyes.

Thanks for your answers,
Michael
