Hello, it's me again. Can somebody confirm my Platycheirus? We found them all near woody structures in SW-Germany. Spec. 1: P. albimanus ? Spec. 2: P. parmatus (ovalis) ? (<-here i feel uncomfortable) Spec. 3: P. peltatus ? Spec. 4: P. scutatus ? Regards Pengie |

Hello pengie, I'd say all is true except the second specimen being a male P. peltatus. Tibia one is expanded and metatarsus is the typical shape of P. peltatus as far as I can judge... Greetings, Ectemnius |
