Limoniidae, Hexatoma (Eriocera) sp., probably related to verticalis Wiedemann.
While others can't climb, using infinite pains,
I, gravity turning to jest,
Ascend, with all ease, perpendicular planes,
Rough or smooth, just as pleases me best.

A correction: I think it's quite a rare occasion when we can put a species name on this, initially I overlooked the unusually short basal part of radial vein which in the key by Edwards (1921) leads directly to Hexatoma (Eriocera) ornata (Enderlein, 1912); it's recorded from Malaysia, both Peninsular and Sarawak. Here's from the original description (Zool. Jb. Syst. 32: S.35-36):

Kopf hell bräunlich-gelb. Stirnhöcker hoch gewölbt, fast von Augenhöhe. Palpus zart, gelbbraun.
Adern hell braungelb. Die Medianäste sind sehr kurz. Membran rot bis blau opalisierend.

Please submit the images both to diptera.info Gallery and Catalogue of the Craneflies of the World (http://nlbif.eti..../index.php).
