-1) excellent pictures

-2) www.tachinidae.eu still works ( I don't use the app)

-3) I have my doubts on Pachystylum. First thing in my mind would be to exclude / verify genus Lydella (since the apical scutellars are erect): check for the Lydella-bristle in the wing ! If Lydella, it might be subg. Lydelloxenis, which would be the find of the year (and good news, since there is a recent review in Tijdschrift voor Entomologie !).

So, Lydella ??

The Lydella-bristle in the wing is present.
Is that I can do it with the key Cerretti?

Hi Christoophe

That is pretty interesting ! I can see it on the picture, I just noticed. I am pretty convinced this is Lydella.
Sent me a PM with a email address and I will send you a copy of my review in TvE.
NOte: I will be off till June 21th

It is not the subgenus Lydelloxenis.
It is the wing nervation of Lydella grisescens.
Thank you Theo for your help.

You are welcome. And maybe next time we get Lydelloxenis !

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
