Hi!

found this fly in a wet area, mainly Phragmites vegetation, staying on different grass blade. taken in 5.may.2007 close to Timisoara (~100m).
is looking very particular so i'm hoping for a full ID Smile

Looks like Trigonometopus frontalis of the Lauxaniidae.

Hi Stephane,

i have checked in the gallery and is the same... at least from i can see.
also checked in the Fauna Europaea and this is the only species of that genus in Europe and also present in Romania so...
