Hover fly from Hong Kong: Syrphus sp.?

This male was caught yesterday. The photo was taken through the transparent box in which it was kept. Three of the same species were seen hovering above a forest trail near a stream. Body length about 12mm. Could it be Syrphus sp.? Thanks! chickenold attached the following image: [157.29Kb] |
