Larvae of Cecidomyiidae?

Eight months ago, I consult a question about the larvae of Diptera, which host is Castanopsis hystrix (http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=53960). Now, another species was collected from the same site and host plant. Are you sure your larvae are Diptera? Larvae of gall forming Chalcidoidea are similar to Cecidomyiidae, differing in structure of head and prothorax and probably in arrangement of spiracles.

I am not sure these larvae are Diptera. But the structure of the gall induced by the two species in the same host plant is obvious different. |
