Genitalia. Useless picture but for general pattern the cercal plate is four-lobed, in the manner of Helina luteisquama (picking something random from the plates). As i keyed the fly to Helina depuncta/impuncta, neither of which have similar, this is a disappointment! In lateral view the surstylus does look like the illustration of impuncta, with an asymmetric dorsal notch near the base.

And now it keys beautifully, thank you Stephane! The genitalia match too, happy days. I was struggling with the distal postero-dorsal seta (I keeping thinking it's not there, when it is). |
