Number 4 of 5 fly species that I photographed in Panama (feb 2012) but have not yet been able to identify.
Shot taken in Bastimentos, Panama.
Who can help?

Syrphidae, probably Toxomerus. In North America these are some of the most common Syrphidae.

Yes, a female Toxomerus sp. There are a lot of species (also undescribed) in the neotropics....

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
