I think the genus is right, but I'm unable to ID the specie.

My checklist say:

Campiglossa absinthii (Fabricius, 1805) (N, S, Si)

Campiglossa difficilis Hendel, 1927 (N)

Campiglossa grandinata Rondani, 1870 (N)

Campiglossa guttella Rondani, 1870 (N)

Campiglossa irrorata Fallén, 1814 (N)

Campiglossa loewiana Hendel, 1927 (N, S)

Campiglossa producta (Loew, 1844) (N, S)

Campiglossa punctella (Fallén, 1814) (N, S, Si)

I have seen every wing of the above species but no one look the same, so I need help, maybe I wrong the genus too.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
