Postabdomen is too large for Cylindromyia. I initially thought Hemyda but 6mm sounds small to me and the eye profile doesn't look right. It'll be one of the Phasiines that I rarely come into contact with

Thanks a lot for help! I didn`t recognize that it was a tachinid because subscutellum was so diffuse. I will look clooser at Phasiinae ...

Many thanks for help to find the correct genera! It is Besseria melanura according to "Die Raupenfliegen Mitteleuropas" (1994). Seems to be a relatively exclusive species for sandy areas in SE Sweden. The other Besseria-species recorded in Sweden is B. anthophila. Best regards Krister |
