These fly was on a window. Length: 1,1cm.
Is ist Chloromyia formosa?

No - too slender, eyes not hairy... I'd vote for Sargus cf. iridatus (see http://www.dipter...pid=172944).

How is it possible to distinguish the species?
I have 3 dorsal and 1 ventral photo.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
