June 23 brought the land of the larva-pupa and 27, hatched is such a hoverfly. Guess Eupeodes sp. Is it possible to sort?

Hi Vladimir,

based on the soft bent r4+5 and the swollen frons visible on photo 4 this female belongs to Scaeva. Yellow stripes on Mesonotum and abdominal spots are unusual large in clear, I have never seen something like this in nature. This happens when the pupa is developing at very high temperatures. Did you breed under special conditions? Based on the broad face shown an photo 3 I would say S. selenitica.
