 Thie image somewhat reminds me of the Aphidoletes featured HERE, but it might well be another species all together.

By the way, it was nice collecting on Bookham Common early 1989. Wink

 thanks, a notice there states 1600 sp. of beetle haver been recorded on the common.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
