someone has suggested a Rove Beetle but at only 2mm max that is unlikely? found in SW London today. Note the antenna - it is facing down: |

Can't tell you the exact genus, but a similar one in my literature is Hypocyphtus sp. - with a given length of 1-1.4 mm...
