Hallo John

At family Anthomyiidae it looks like Phorbia nuceicornis or Adia cinerella.
Is one of the to species possible?

Regards,
Dennis

Anthomyiidae females are hard to identify, and I can't say anything more about this one.

Hallo John

In this case I think Anthomyiidae sp. is safe.

Dennis

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
