Calamoncosis sp., Chloropidae, possibly C. glyceriae Nartshuk or C. minima (Strobl). Proboscis seems to be short which speaks for C. minima. C. duinensis can be excluded as it has whitish wing membranes. Other species with white halters possess longer tubercles at the edge of the scutellum. Compare photo for C. aprica.

Thank you for the fine explanation.
According to Fauna Europaea Gyceriae is not recorded from DK (but in Sveeden and Germany - perhaps overlooked?) C. aprica black halteres (http://www.dipter...d_id=55000)
Wing size and veneration seems to fit minima more than aprica (http://www.boldsy...xid=483273)

Calamoncosis cf. Minima

sorry for the late reaction.
Thank you very much!

Gretings, Ole

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
