Looks very Blondellini to me (2 prae DC, humeral bristels in a triangle). Oswaldia muscaria comes in mind, which is pretty abundant right now. Theo |

Hmm, yeah I have to agree with Theo, just on gut feeling. Looks quite skinny and blondeliine ... I wish I saw Oswaldia abundantly

Theo´s got it right! O. muscaria is the earlierst, pretty abundant here in Finland too but flies usually in June. Jaakko |

Took me ages to spot that Oswaldia have the triangle of bristles on the humeral callus - it isn't mentioned when you key it in Belshaw. It makes an excellent confirmatory feature - as do the yellow halteres
