My friend found a strange hymenopteran with long appendage(?). Any ID is appreciated esp. family level or below.

I saw thinking sawfly (Symphyta) based on cylindrical abdomen and external ovipositor. |

I'm with Henrik - it looks quite similar to Coelioxys, but I'm not into the fauna of North Thailand. There might be some similar genera? Maybe try at hymis.de Nice animal anyway! Marc |
