Is this Anthomyia procellaris? Collected in Sweden.

The only "black and white" Anthomyia species found in Sweden are A. procellaris and A. pluvialis. If you have doubt, you have to prepare the genitals. Not an easy job with Anthomyia species... But I think A. procellaris makes a good change if I look at the number of ad setae on the hindtibia. Edited by javanerkelens on 17-02-2013 23:22 |
