This is Conioscinella frontella (Fallén, 1820), Chloropidae, Oscinellinae. The anterior part of the frons is yellowish, the ocellar triangel is coverred with pollen (pubescent), the genae (jowls) are yellowish and are not protruding in front of the anterior edge of the eyes, the mesonotum (= scutum) missess deeply impressed furrows (present in all Tricimba spp.). The larvae develop in rotting grasses and are partly phytosaprophagous in some other substrates. A common European species.
