Hi all,
very bad at these. Tipula cava? Lund, southern Sweden, early May.

No, these aren't Tipula cava.
Tipula oleracea is the most probable species. In spring there are no look-alikes as Tipula paludosa only starts flying in late summer and Tipula subcunctans in mid-autumn. Thus based on phaenology it should be oleracea.
The genus Tipula (Tipula) can be recognized by the dark brown front edge of the wing and the milky streek behind it.
