Welcome to the forum Ira ! To me I think it is a Phoridae larvae and it shows resemblance with Dohrniphora cornuta as depicted in Smith (1989)...immature stages..., page 188, fig. 239. or perhaps: Platypezidae. Considering the host fungus it's most likely to be Kesselimyia (Platypezidae). See also: http://72.44.83.99/photogallery.php?photo_id=6071 |
