Found these apparently "having a nice time", but cut short to end up swimming in some vodka/water mixture. Took them home to photograph..another Lazarus impersonation followed. Hmmm...weird!!

Quite baffling: Just running it through the keys they nicely settle with Platypalpus pallidiventris BUT... The femora are darkeked, more conspicuously so in the male than in the famle and I have not been able to find intra-specific variation described that mentions darkening of the femora.
