skyrk is right: Anthophora, rather Amegilla. Some authors see Amegilla as a subgenus of Anthophora, others as Michener distinguish between Anthophora and Amegilla, latter with the distinct apical tergal rows of hairs (sometimes metallic green or blue) and the absence of ariola (not visible in the pic). Very nice bee, maybe on hymis.de they can tell you species level!? Marc |
