 LARGER Found it on the ground, on small plants in a beech forest. 6.7.2012, N Hungary. Is this a Sciapus sp. female? Thank you in advance! Nikola |

It appears to be a female Sciapus. It can't be keyed using the North European key without a clearer view of the tibiae and tarsi, and it could be a species not in that key. |

Cf. platypterus, based on antennal chaetotaxy (apparently second antennal segment has short ventral hairs only).
