Hello,

This fly looks a bit like Jorge's Nemoraea pellucida in the gallery, but the color of the scutellum seems to be different.
Picture was taken in July, near Heerlen (Kunderberg).

Looks like Thelaira nigripes. Males can be quite reddish, or predominantly black.

It's a highly/annoyingly variable genus Sad But with so few antero-dorsal bristles on the middle tibia it should be nigripes
