Hello,
Can anyone determine this fly taken 21th September 2006, in the valley of the river Rhine/Southern Germany.
I have gone through the gallery and the best match I can see is Thricops diaphanus. But I am usually wrong!

It is a species of Sapromyza of the Lauxaniidae.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
