Hello Reinoud, I'd like to thank you very much for naming all the flies. To me they all seem the same and I appreciate your help very much!! Who knows the name of this Asilidae fly.. You're welcome! this is Tolmerus (Machimus) atricapillus female. What surprises me is the number of quite rare species you have pictured especially Antipalus and Neomochtherus, could you give a description of the habitat? If all pictures are taken in the same place or near each other....?
