Hello,

I found this group of eggs amongst Iris leaves growing in a bog end of my pond on 4th May 2011, near Lincoln UK. The large group was ~15mm long, with eggs probably 1mm or so long. There was two smaller groups nearby.

Four days later on 8th May I noticed many had hatched, I managed to get photos of some of them emerging. Once out the case they dived to the shallow water in the basket the Iris is growing in, it didn't take long for all of them to hatch. The cases all disappeared too, I found a few in the water.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
