Hello Forum, this should be a Syrphidae, not so? I think Chrysogaster solstitialis (male) shoiuld be right. What do you think? Yes, in Nordrhein-Westfalen this is very likely to be C. solstitialis: blackish wings without yellow base, antenna orange, purple/bluish sheen on thorax (but watch out with such specimens in southern Europe, e.g. C. mediterraneus is very similar). |
