Location: Crete Date: 2006-08-09 Size: 5-7 cm Place: everywhere on the trees I was in Crete in August and this cicadas were thronging and chirping aloud on the trees. When I was in Knossos the cicadas caused ear-splitting voice. eguzki attached the following image:  [105.38Kb] |

No, we don't use them for anything :-) I just mean that we get used to the noise after a while and it doesn't bother us! |
