Or are there similar species? About 4.5 mm, at at forest path (northwest Germany).

Do you have picture of thorax from side view? There are two possibilities: Palloptera umbellatarum and Toxoneura modesta. P.u. seems to be more probably according to wing color pattern, but I am not absolutely sure without seeing setae on thorax from side view...

No, sorry, this is the only picture I could take.

Interesting, thanks! I did not know of Toxoneura modesta. I guess this is a newer synonym of Palloptera modesta?

Yes, Jürgen. I follow the nomenclature of Ozerov. T. modesta = P. modesta. I will chek my collection inthe museum tomorrow and maybe it help us to identify your animal exactly.

Hello Juergen,

In Toxoneura modesta there is no spot on the anal vein. So T. modesta is not an option.
