Found in a pond on the underside of a floating leaf in New Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA, on May 30, 2010. Among eggs that I believe are chironomid, but I will post a better photo of those separately. Edited by ceiseman on 14-12-2011 02:57 |

pupa of Ceratopogonidae. And in Europe (were I live), I know of only one genus with these long thoracic horns i.e. Dasyhelea.
