Thank you for confirmation Stephane. Would you advice me some identification keys for Palearctic / European Muscidae to search similar species? |

- The Muscidae (Diptera) of Central Europe - F. Gregor, R. Rozkosny, M. Bartak & J. Vanhara - 2002 Were you doubting with M. resplendens or M. intermedia ? M. resplendens is easy to recogniize by the wing venation : cell r4+5 is broad at apex (M1+2 ends well below the wing apex) - see in the gallery. M. intermedia is more white dusted on front of scutum and shoulders and the face is more greyish than golden yellow. In case of doubts, see the katepisternal bristles layout : resplendens : 1+2 intermedia : 1+1 meridiana : 0+1 Stephane. |
