Hello!

Again I am not sure of the family. This 4 mm fly came running on a tree trunk and climbed the remains of a much bigger fly yesterday at the forest border (northwest Germany).

No idea, sorry, Coenosiinae? I can´t see clearly the wing of the prey, could that face belong to Goniini?

Thank you! I thought of Goniini, too, for the bigger fly (no prey of the small one! it was already there, when that arrived), but I miss the bend in the M-vein. awkward
