Hi, Digging through Franks' site I ended up with Psylliodes chrysocephalus for this 3mm long CHRYSOMELID. Is that correct? 14 nov. 2006. Andre Jas attached the following image: [17.45Kb] Andr? Jas |

Hello Andr?, yes you are right. Psylliodes can be very difficult sometimes, but this species is very large and common - and send us a good id hint with the red head Best regards Frank |

Hi Frank, Thanks. I was pretty certain, but since you've got the years of experience, I value your judgement high everytime. So large means here 3-4 mm. How small are the small ones? Andr? Jas |

Hello Andr?, chrysocephalus: 3,0 - 4,5 mm, other common species 2 - 3 mm, two large species on Solanum and Cirsium 3 - 4 mm.
