Melanostoma mellinum(male) is the correct name? Thank you very much. Slovak Republik, Terchová region on the Malá Fatra, approximately 700 m above sea level 31.08.2011.

It is a Platycheirus male, a quite interesting one. I hope you have pinned it.

Hi Mucha Fero It's a Platycheirus specie but it is not Platycheirus manicatus. May be P. albimanus or P. scutatus ? Have you other pictures ? P-Y |
