Xylota ignava is the correct name? Thank you very much. Slovak Republik, Terchová region on the Malá Fatra, approximately 700 m above sea level 07.08.2011.

Legs are too dark for X. ignava. This one might be a male of X. lenta (compare http://www.rutkie...20m01.html and the following pictures).

The correct name is Brachypalpoides lentus (Meigen, 1822)
